First episode, they’re fighting and Rory is all “We have to pay you know!” and Lorelai throws money on the table.

Oh also when Rory is in Europe with her grandmother and Lorelai goes to Luke’s and gets coffee from Lane she pays AND over tips.

“let him have his moment”?  Maybe she wanted her damn moment.  She was ready to be engaged so she asked, why does she have to wait for him to be ready to ask just because she’s the girl?  I guess we aren’t allowed to make the big relationship decisions.
